Other Ways To Donate

City Wildlife is grateful for any contribution to our organization at any time of year. Some donors choose specific times of the year or specific ways to contribute. City Wildlife accepts donations in many forms, either online or in-person at our Rehabilitation Center in Washington, DC. Here are some other common ways or times to donate:

Combined Federal Campaign

cfcCity Wildlife is proud to announce that we have been accepted as an organization within the Combined Federal Campaign, meaning we are now eligible for matching gifts through the CFC. If you are a Federal Employee, please consider giving through the CFC to help the local wildlife in need. Our registration number is 84056.

Stocks and Other Securities

City Wildlife welcomes gifts of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. For more information on donating securities to City Wildlife, please see our detailed page here.

Wish List

If you would rather donate resources for City Wildlife to use, we have a Wish List of items and goods that we use every day. Some of these common goods include food for the animals, cleaning supplies, and other household items. Here is the full list. These items are are listed on our Amazon Wish List.

Do More 24

do-more-24Powered by the United Way of the National Capital Area, Do More 24 is a 24-hour fundraiser to help communities around the Washington DC Metro area. On June 2nd, 2016, Do More 24 raised over 1.5 million dollars for local organizations from over 11,000 donors!

#GivingTuesday

The week after Thanksgiving is a popular time to shop for many people. After Black Friday and Cyber Monday comes Giving Tuesday, a day that many people choose to contribute to their favorite charity, either through donation, goods, time or their voice – raising awareness for the cause of their choice.

Other Ways To Give

  • Check with your employer to see if they match employees’ charitable donations. Consult this online list to see if your company participates.
  • Check out our Volunteering Opportunities. Much of our work force comes from generous volunteers that donate time instead of money.
  • We do accept donated services! If you have a service that you would like to donate, give us a call or send an email to info@citywildlife.org for more information.
  • There are still more ways to donate! If you do not see anything on this page that suits you, but you still want to give to City Wildlife, send us an email and we would love to help you.
