Bequests

City Wildlife, Inc. Bequests

City Wildlife welcomes bequests.  Bequests are a way to assure that your concern for wildlife continues beyond your own lifetime and into the future.  There are several ways to make a bequest, and the following language options may be helpful to you in creating a bequest in your will:

Bequest for a specific amount:

I give, devise and bequeath to City Wildlife, Inc. (tax identification number 26-2641235), a charitable corporation organized under Delaware law in 2008, now maintaining its headquarters in the District of Columbia at 15 Oglethorpe Street, NW, Washington DC 20011 (mailing address P.O. Box 60078, Washington DC 20039), the sum of $______________.

Percentage Bequest:

I give, devise and bequeath to City Wildlife, Inc. (tax identification number 26-2641235), a charitable corporation organized under Delaware law in 2008, now maintaining its headquarters in the District of Columbia at 15 Oglethorpe Street, NW, Washington DD 20011 (mailing address P.O. Box 60078, Washington DC 20039), _______% of the rest and residue of my estate.

Contingent Bequest:

In the event that (name or names; i.e. spouse, children, sibling, heirs) shall not survive me or shall die during the administration of my estate, within _______days from the date of my death, or as a result of a common disaster, then I give, devise and bequeath those beneficiaries’ percentage of my estate to City Wildlife, Inc. (tax identification number 26-2641235), a charitable corporation organized under Delaware law in 2008, now maintaining its headquarters in the District of Columbia at 15 Oglethorpe Street, NW, Washington DC 20011 (mailing address P.O. Box 60078, Washington DC 20039).
